Bedford Fields Nursery

Did you know that in one year, an average tree produces enough oxygen for a family of four?

Planting trees and shrubs remains the cheapest and most effective mean of drawing excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and provides clean oxygen for us to breathe.  Shade trees can reduce your heating and cooling costs by 10-50%.

Bedford Fields has selected a variety of our favorite trees and shrubs which are hardy, easy to grow and dependable for our climate.

Stop by and let us help you pick a tree or shrub especially for your garden.  We are always available to help with questions or diagnostics needs. Visit one of primary tree and shrub growers at www.pennsylvaniapride.com

Some new trees this year include:

Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry Tree
Outstanding 4 season interest! Delicate white flowers in spring, sweet purple edible berries in summer, lovely fall foliage and nice winter bark. This small tree will be great in a part sun location!

White Fringetree
This shrub-like tree is a perfect specimen. Green spring leaves are followed by fragrant, lacy flowers in summer, and lovely yellow fall foliage. All this, and it’s easy to grow!

Japanese Stewartia tree
Fabulous flowering tree! Large white, early summer flowers, followed  by red to purple fall foliage. Interesting brown peeling bark in winter makes this a year round favorite
